Punch-In Requirements
For a successful punch-in, staff members must provide specific permissions and details as required:
1. Photo: Staff members must take a photo, which requires enabling the extension’s camera permission.
2. Current Location: Staff must attach their current location (latitude and longitude), which requires enabling location services within the extension.
3. Notes: Staff have the option to add notes to communicate any specific message to the Admin, which can be viewed in the Admin Portal.
4. Manual Time: Staff may input a manual punch-in/out time if needed.
All requirements, except for Notes, can be enabled or disabled by the Admin for flexibility. If the Admin has disabled a particular requirement (such as the Photo option), staff may still provide it, but it won’t be recorded for the punch. For instance, if the Photo option is disabled, the staff can still take a picture, but it will be disregarded during the punch-in process.
Staff can perform multiple punch-ins/outs throughout the day, allowing for flexibility in tracking attendance across different shifts or breaks.
